Blessed St. Joseph, your humble trust in God and obedience to His word led you to accept the role as husband and father in the Holy Family; by your intercession may we grow in humble acceptance of God's will for us and receive the graces necessary to be stalwart protectors and supporters of our families and all the Holy Church. Amen.

St. Joseph, Pillar of Families Parish will try to honor requests for Mass intentions to the best of our ability and according to the Code of Canon Law for the universal Catholic Church.
Canon Law Background
-
Canon 948: Separate Masses are to be applied for the intentions of those for whom a single offering, although small, has been given and accepted.
-
Canon 953: No one is permitted to accept more offerings for Masses to be applied by himself than he can satisfy within a year.
Guidelines
-
Individuals are allowed to book no more than 5 Mass intentions per visit in the Four Pillars in Faith parish cluster.
-
A maximum of 5 Masses will be accepted for one individual or intention in a calendar year per parish. For example, 5 total Masses for Jane Doe in a calendar year per parish. Her daughter, Janet Doe could have 3 Masses said for her mother, Jane Doe, but her neighbor then, could only request 2 Masses for Jane Doe in the calendar year. Any additional Mass intention requests would be sent to the Missions. See bullet point below.
-
Up to three named people are allowed per intention. If you wish to include more, you may request that the intention be for a family. For example, Jane Doe could request a Mass for the Living and Deceased Relatives of the Doe Family.
-
Due to scheduling, Mass intentions may not get specific requested dates.
-
Masses that are not able to be offered within one year of request or are in excess of the guidelines will be sent to the Missions, Diocese of St. Cloud or the Crosiers of Onamia.
-
Daily Mass Intentions that are cancelled due to a funeral or other unforeseen event, will be moved to the next available date and an attempt to contact the person who requested the Mass intention will be made.
The Mass stipend of $10.00 is established by the Diocese of St. Cloud, not Four Pillars in Faith Area Catholic Community.
